HR Manager

Locations: Bangkok, Thailand

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Thai HR professional with excellent English skills to join us as our HR Manager. This is a critical, all-encompassing role suited to someone who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and is excited to build and own the HR function at a start-up. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the senior leadership team (SLT), you will be both strategic and hands-on in managing every aspect of human resources.

 
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent across all functions.
  • Own and optimize the end-to-end hiring process.
  • Lead onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires into the company.
 
Talent Management & Development
  • Build-on existing performance management processes, including personal KPI and performance appraisals, as well as company OKRs and regular feedback cycles.
  • Design and support development programs to grow internal talent and nurture high-potential employees.
  • Coach managers on best practices in performance management and team development.
 
Company Culture & Values
  • Champion Nextera’s culture and values across the organization.
  • Lead initiatives to foster employee engagement and alignment with company mission and values.
  • Create programs and events that promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
 
Employee Relations
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on people-related matters.
  • Handle sensitive employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ensure compliance with Thai labor laws and HR best practices.
 
Compensation & Benefits
  • Work with leadership to design and implement fair and competitive compensation structures.
  • Manage employee benefits programs and drive continuous improvement.
 
HR Operations & Compliance
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations including employment contracts, HR documentation, and payroll coordination.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.
 
HR Analytics & Success Metrics
  • Take ownership of HR analytics by developing and reporting on key metrics that measure success across the employee lifecycle.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs such as time-to-hire, employee retention rate, engagement scores and performance rating distributions.
  • Use data-driven insights to recommend and implement continuous improvements in HR processes, culture, and team performance.
 
What We’re Looking For:
  • Thai national with full professional proficiency in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of broad HR experience, ideally including in a start-up or fast-growth company.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
  • Knowledge of Thai labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Passion for people, organizational culture, and enabling business success through HR.
